My Build
Its our 2nd birthday!
2 years today I purchased and collected the first parts of my project, and as such it’s time to post the traditional happy birthday I can assure you all that the project is proceeding on at a pace, but due to illness and some family issues not a lot has been done in the last […]
Test Day
Well, that was interesting. I took the trike to the Exeter VOSA station for its MSVA test, and which I have been stressing about for the last 3 months, and which didn’t quite go to plan.
That Final Push – Days 5 6 and 7
As the days countdown I now have only 2 build days to go till the trike goes for MSVA. This deadline has started a bit of a panic and I am getting worried. But I have a great team helping me and I know it will be ready for test!
That Final Push – Day 4
Today I managed to finish one of the jobs that I started last week, and that was the mudguards. I made a decision 2 weeks ago to postpone the test till 26th July. this is due to the fact that progress was to slow and the outstanding jobs where to great to make it to test […]
That Final Push – Day 3
Day three commenced with the usual circle of the trike to work out what needs to be done and develop a plan of action. We looked at the list, and it was suggested I started with the front marker lights and mount them on the rear mudguard.
That Final Push – Day 2
Following on from yesterdays progress more has been achieved. As you may recall I had made a list of 14 things that had to be complete before going to MSVA.
That Final Push
As you can guess there is still a lot to do and very little time to do it! With just 4 build days left I still have a very long list of things to finish off.
Woohoo!
Ladies and Gentlemen, for my 40th post I would like to announce that I am now the proud owner of a trike that moves under its own power!!!!11!1 This momentous occasion comes to you via the guys at the workshop and myself working hard and getting the gear linkage sorted!
Go Go Juice Required! (part 2)
With the forward half of the fuel lines laid in it is time to start on the rear half of the pipework. As the whole run is in stainless steel armoured flexible piping I worked out how I wanted the run to go by zip tieing temporarily in place and then drilling a hole for […]
Go Go Juice Required!
With the electrics on hiatus until the rear mudguards are complete I moved onto another important step and that was to fit the fuel line from the tank all the way to the engine.
